Mind Meets Music is a revolutionary new method of increasing literacy and higher order thinking skills in early elementary students through music. Our Mind Meets Music Program helps our K through 2nd graders on Monday, Thursday and Fridays.

What is Mind Meets Music?
This original, specialized, and intense curriculum produced independently verified test results showing a 34% increase in improvement in reading scores. Mind Meets Music uses a form of music education methodology from Hungary, adapted for American students by Dr. Monique Salinas-Stauffer.

Each classroom’s thirty minute session has kids singing, reading, writing, and signing music. Basic fundamental skills learned through these activities correspond to skills used in literacy. In addition, targeted intense music experiences develops higher order thinking skills.
